How to Empty Your Water Trap

You’ve got your humidity for your oxygen concentrator.
You hopefully now have a water trap, but you can’t open it to empty it.

How do you fix this?

    The water trap connected at the cannula seems to cut down the flow of my oxygen why

    Thanks, I saw this video on youtube but wasn’t sure if it were the same model I had. The healthcare co. that furnished mine said they only used disposable ones, I didn’t think that was right. This was very helpful.

      Thank you so much David for your time explaining this simple fix. I was stressing over nothing when I seen the water inside. That had not happened before tonight and i didn’t want to bother someone on call if I could find the solution

    I’ve been doing that. How do you get it out of the 50’ hose?

      Hi Sandra, usually you have to grip the end of the tubing and the end of the water trap and simultaneously wiggle both back and forth while pulling them apart.
